Sassongher is a 2665 m two-thousander in Südtirol, close to Gran Cir - Große Cirspitze - Grande Cir, Piz Pisciadù - Pisciadù-Spitze - Cima Pisciadù, Piza de Puez - Östliche Puezspitze - Piz de Puez. The view reaches as far as Hochgall - Monte Collalto at 3436 m. The marked path to the top is graded T5 demanding alpine hiking on the SAC scale.
